Our Services
-
Whether you're searching for your next partner, preparing a horse for sale, or developing an off-the-track Thoroughbred, Horse Girl Wellness provides personalized support every step of the way. From OTTB training and development to professional consignment sales and complimentary buying and selling consultations, I help riders make confident, informed decisions while matching horses with the right homes. My goal is simple: to create successful partnerships built on honesty, education, and a strong foundation for long-term success.
Helping horses and riders find the right path forward—whether that's a new beginning, a new home, or a new partnership.

Leasing can be a great way to enjoy horse ownership without the full financial commitment of purchasing. Whether you're looking for additional saddle time, show opportunities, or a horse to help you reach your riding goals, I help match riders with suitable lease opportunities based on their experience, budget, and ambitions. From first-time leasers to competitive riders, I provide guidance throughout the process to ensure a successful partnership for both horse and rider. HGW has several high quality horses ready for lease.

The Conscious Horsemanship Program is designed to develop thoughtful, skilled riders who understand not only how to ride - but how to train, communicate with, and develop a horse over time. This is not a high-volume lesson program. It is a structured curriculum focused on building independent horsemen.
Located in Littleton, Massachusetts, and serving surrounding communities, the program is ideal for advanced beginners and intermediate riders who are ready to move beyond basic instruction and deepen their understanding of the horse.

We’ll teach you how to manage anxiety, build unshakable confidence, and balance passions with academic/career goals—without burning out. If you don’t see a transformation, we’ll continue working with you or your teen until you do. Coaching sessions are virtual.

Why Horse Girl Wellness is Different
Confidence-Building Coaching
We combine horsemanship lessons with structured life-coaching and emotional skills training - helping riders manage anxiety, build confidence, and grow into strong leaders.
Mindful, Heart Led
Riders learn partnership and communication through body awareness, breathwork techniques, and emotional regulation. This is achieved through “on the ground” horse knowledge sessions, ground work training, and riding.
A Supportive Community for Teens and Adults
Your rider will never feel alone here. Our program blends riding, mentorship, and personal development - creating a space where they feel understood, supported, and inspired.
About Your Coach
Dr. Kirstie Lynn Dobbs
Kirstie Dobbs is a rider, educator, and youth advocate who bridges the worlds of equine wellness and youth development to help young people build resilience, confidence, and emotional clarity—on and off the horse. With more than 26 years of riding experience and 10 years of professional teaching, Kirstie blends horsemanship, mindfulness, and personal development to create a deeply holistic approach to growth.
Before running Horse Girl Wellness, Kirstie served as the Director of Early College and a statewide policy advisor for the Massachusetts Alliance for Early College. She also taught and mentored high school and undergraduate community-engaged scholars at Merrimack College, where her work centered on identity development, mental health, leadership, and helping young people—especially first-generation students—recognize their own strengths and pathways to success.
In addition to her academic leadership, Kirstie has worked as an international consultant promoting youth inclusion and educational equity policies across the world. Her research and policy work—funded in part by the European Union—supported global initiatives that amplify youth voice, expand access to opportunity, and strengthen community-based pathways to education and well-being.
Horse Girl Wellness is where her two worlds meet. Through riding instruction, Reiki, equine-assisted coaching, and youth-focused wellness programs, Kirstie creates safe and affirming spaces where riders and young people can explore who they are, build emotional resilience, and cultivate confidence. Her approach integrates evidence-based coaching practices with the intuitive, grounding wisdom of horses.
Kirstie will also be earning her certification with PATH Intl. in 2026, expanding her ability to support riders and youth through therapeutic horsemanship and equine-assisted learning.
Whether she is teaching a jumping lesson, coaching a teen through anxiety, leading a mindfulness workshop, or directing programs that change lives, Kirstie’s mission remains the same: to help people feel seen, supported, and powerful in their own growth.
